 River String RS-QP Les Paul Style Guitar
The standard plus style model in les paul style guitar models, finish is a beautiful cherry sunburst, which is one of the most beautiful finishes you will find. Also available in a beautiful green sunburst or Blue sunburst. Both front and back are transparent showing off the great mahogany and maple wood patterns.
The neck is made of mahogany and this is a set neck. The guitar has a great balance when you sit down with it. The neck feels great, the fretboard and frets play like it is a very expensive model and the sound is extremely balanced with enough lows on the neck pickup and enough crisp highs on the bridge pickup.
If you want a guitar that has extreme good value, but you don't have the money to buy a more expensive brand, this is the guitar to buy.

Pros: This is simply a great guitar. No buts and ifs. The sound is balanced, the guitar has a great balanced feel, plays great and incredible value
Cons: The only small thing you can find is the finish of the neck. The outer lining is not evenly colored, but you have to look hard.

Other Mahogany GuitarsAlthough the exactly the sound you can get from a les Paul style configuration you might want to look at some strat type models. Some guitarists want the les paul type sound, but they do need more access to high parts on the neck. And a les paul also plays a little more difficult when you are sitting down when practicing or writing songs. So have a look at some other mahogany guitars, some real beauties are available, and of course they have a great sound, otherwise they wouldn't have made it here.
